The Gospel

Ask yourself: “If I died today am I 100% sure I would go to heaven?” Please take the time to read this and examine your life.

God is perfect and created all things; from the very beginning, God had a plan for this world. Nothing surprises God or happens outside of God’s sovereign control. God is perfectly Holy and completely righteous (beyond comprehension!). But we are human and are very different from our creator. We all like to think that we are good people but if we examine ourselves by God’s Holy standard we see the truth of what we really are. Let’s look at some of God standards, the ten commandments, and see what we find. Listen to your conscience and answer honestly.

9 Thou shalt not bear false witness:

Have your ever told a lie, even if you think it was harmless? A lie is deceitful and dishonest and morally wrong. God cannot and will not lie.

8 Thou shalt not steal:

Stealing is something many try to justify by saying it was caused by their circumstances, but let’s be honest: you know it’s wrong no matter how little value the item stolen is.

3 Thou shalt not use the Lord’s name in vain:

This is called blasphemy. If you have ever used God’s name as a curse word, God sees this as a very serious crime. Jesus said “But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment” (Matthew 12:36).

7 Thou shalt not commit adultery:

Jesus said that even lusting after a woman in your heart is adultery in God’s eyes (Matthew 5:28). In fact, every thought, word, and deed will be judged by God’s righteous standard.

If you are honest with yourself, you know you have sinned against God. The bible tells us “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3:23) God is a righteous, just judge who will not let any sin go unpunished.” (Revelation 21:8 ESV) But as for the cowardly, the faithless, the detestable, as for murderers, the sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, their portion will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death.” Please believe God and come to the truth that you deserve the lake of fire for your sin against God. This sounds drastic, but we’ve sinned against an INFINITELY Holy God, so the punishment must be eternal! You need forgiveness of your sins. Do you know what God did which provides forgiveness of sinners? “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8). God became a Man in the person of Jesus Christ who came to this earth, lived a sinless life, and suffered and took God’s wrath for sin upon Himself. He then rose from the grave – thus, defeating death and was “raised for our justification” (Romans 4:25). You broke God’s Law, and Jesus has paid the fine! He has offered His Righteousness to you! Not everyone will receive this gift. Jesus said “except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.” (Luke 13:3).

This was part of God’s plan from the beginning to bring glory to Jesus Christ while also showing mercy to you. Forgiveness for sin is not something you earn and cannot be bought, it is a free gift of mercy that God gives by His Grace. Because God is Holy, He would disgrace Himself if He allowed sin to go unpunished. Jesus offered a perfect sacrifice for sin, because He is fully God and became fully man, and was able to truly pay for the sins of men. He fully atoned for the sins of those who would believe! Ephesians 2:8-9 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. Galatians 2:16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified. Titus 3:5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; Don’t try to make a deal with God that you will do this if God gives you a good life or money or health. Come to Christ because Jesus Christ deserves your faith, your trust, your obedience. Jesus loves you, died for you, and is calling you. John 3:36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him. If God is pulling on your heart right now or you’ve made this decision to ask God to forgive you, please contact us. We want to help you on your new journey with Christ as your Lord.

Pulpit Supply

Our ministry is able to help you by filling your church’s pulpit and providing a God-glorifying, bible centered sermon. Our speakers are experienced, preaching both in churches and the open air and believe it is an honor to stand in a pulpit to teach God’s people. Our approach is solemn as we endeavor to truly share the word of God exegetically.

It is our belief that scripture speaks for itself and should be interpreted by scripture. Using this approach, we can offer you bible-based preaching which doesn’t alter the Word of God, along with practical applications for your daily life. Psalm 119:11 Thy Word have I hid in mine heart; that I might not sin against thee promises a a life of continual growth spiritually, if we keep God’s word as our focus and our only provision for wisdom.

We preach Christ crucified; but we are prepared to speak on a wide variety of biblical topics. With a Christ-exalting gospel as the foundation, God’s Word will always be our sole authority.

Contact us today to see if we have a speaker available when you need one.

Prison/Jail Ministry

It is our desire, as people of God by His grace alone, to reach out to a lost and dying world with the gospel. Hebrews 13:3 Remember those who are in prison, as though in prison with them, and those who are mistreated, since you also are in the body.

Although many believe this verse refers to those who are imprisoned for the gospel, we are glad to remember all those who’ve been created in the image of God who are imprisoned, regardless of the reason. We, who have been saved by Christ, are exceedingly aware that we’ve been freed from our own prison that we chose, bondage to sin. Men and women who are in man-made prisons and jails need the gospel in order to be saved and professing christians who are in jail or prison need discipleship and edification.

If you have a friend or family member who you would like contacted with the gospel, we can write him or her a letter introducing them to Christ.

Note: in order to avoid any potential problems, women will contact women and men will contact men.

If you are a jail/prison administrator who would like us to come for a devotion and question and answer session with a group, let us know. We are prepared to share testimonies of our own inability to fulfill God’s laws, as well as the laws of our land and the hope found in Christ. We have shared in many of the struggles of the incarcerated and are ready to bring hope and encouragement to them!

Discipleship

We offer personal discipleship. We believe that commitment and participation in a local church is the most effective way to grow in the Christian faith, and we desire to work with you toward that end: finding a Christ centered church in your area.

That being said, we understand that people may find us from all walks of life and circumstances and we want to be available for personal discipleship. If you are looking for accountability and loving Christian dialogue and growth, please feel free to contact us.

Our goal is not to take people from local churches, but to build up local churches or plant new ones where they are needed. Part of the great commission is to teach the brethren to obey all that He has commanded, and we take that seriously.

Additionally, we will be happy to help you grow in your witnessing encounters and even go with you to pass out your first tract or witness one on one with a stranger or even someone you know.
